Split PDF pages or a whole document

Your file is deleted the moment it's done. The big PDF sites keep your bank statements and IDs on their servers. Here the original goes right after processing, the result after 45 minutes — or sooner, on your click.

Drop a PDF and either pull the pages you need into one new file, or split every page into its own PDF, zipped up for download.

Two ways to split, one tool

Most of the time you want one of two things: a handful of pages out of a longer document, or the whole thing broken apart into single pages. Pick Pick pages and type a range to get the first — one new PDF with just those pages, in order. Pick Split every page and drop the file to get the second — every page as its own PDF, all of them in one ZIP.

Nothing is re-rendered: pages are copied out of the original exactly as they were, so text stays as sharp as it went in and nothing loses quality.

File won't even open here in the first place? That's usually structural damage, not a page problem — repair the PDF first, then split the fixed copy.

Typing a page range

The pages box takes a range, a list, or both mixed together, comma-separated:

Ask for a page that does not exist and the page tells you exactly how many pages the PDF actually has, instead of guessing or failing silently.

What happens to your file

There is no account, no watermark and no daily cap. Everything runs on our own servers; the ads on the page keep them online. Your original upload is deleted the moment processing finishes, the cleaned result stays available for up to 45 minutes so you can download it and is then deleted automatically, and nothing is ever sold, shared or used to train AI.

Split a file apart and need to reassemble a different combination afterward? Merge PDF puts any set of pages back into one document.

Common questions

How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?

Choose ‘Pick pages’, type the pages you want as a range or list (like 1-3,7) and press Split. You get one new PDF with just those pages, in order.

How do I split a PDF into separate files, one per page?

Choose ‘Split every page’ and drop your PDF. Every page becomes its own PDF, and you can download them one by one or all at once in a ZIP.

What page range format can I use?

Single pages and ranges, comma-separated: 1-3,7,10-12 for example. Spaces are fine too.

Is it free? Is there a watermark?

Free, no watermark, no account and no daily cap.

Does splitting reduce the quality?

No. Pages are copied out of the original as they are, not re-rendered, so text and images stay exactly as sharp.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

No — take the password off first with our remove a PDF password tool (you need to know the password), then split the unlocked copy.

What happens to my file?

Your original is deleted the moment the split is done; the result is deleted automatically 45 minutes later, or immediately if you ask.
