Your file is deleted the moment it's done. The big PDF sites keep your bank statements and IDs on their servers. Here the original goes right after processing, the result after 45 minutes — or sooner, on your click.

A statement that asks for a code every single time you open it. Type that code once here and download a copy without the password.
This tool removes a password you already know. Type it, and you get the same PDF back without the lock on it. That is the honest limit of what any tool can do without breaking the law and the maths: AES-256 has no back door, so a page that promises to open a PDF you cannot open yourself is either lying or trying something you do not want to be part of.
Type the wrong password and nothing happens — the page says so and stops. There is no guessing and no attempt to try a second time on your behalf.
Banks and payroll systems ship PDFs locked with your date of birth or a customer number. That is sensible while it travels, and a nuisance when you file five years of statements and get asked for a code on every one. Unlock the copy you keep, leave the original where it is.
The other direction is on the next page: put a password on a PDF.
There is no account, no watermark and no daily cap. Everything runs on our own servers; the ads on the page keep them online. Your original upload is deleted the moment processing finishes, the cleaned result stays available for up to 45 minutes so you can download it and is then deleted automatically, and nothing is ever sold, shared or used to train AI.
Once a file is unlocked, merge PDF can combine it with others into a single document.
Drop it on this page, type the password you normally use to open it, and press Remove the password. You get an unlocked copy back.
No. The file is encrypted, and without the password there is nothing to open — by us or by anyone else. Any site that claims otherwise is not doing what it says.
No. The pages, the text layer and the images come out exactly as they went in; only the encryption is gone.
The page tells you the PDF is password-protected and stops. Nothing is uploaded a second time and nothing is guessed.
Ten pages per document on the free side. A €5 ShinobiTools pass raises that to 25 pages and works on our other eight tools too.
Free, no watermark, no account and no daily cap.
Your upload is deleted the moment the unlocked copy is written; that copy is deleted automatically 45 minutes later, or immediately if you ask.
